The rationale that we got from Foster and the head guy from the BBBC was that it's better that Groves took one punch too few than one punch too many. So how come that didn't apply a few weeks ago during Cleverly versus Kovalev when the ref carried Cleverley back to his own corner?


The worst thing was that if Groves had made it through to the end he would have been robbed on the cards anyway.

Because cleverly is know for taking punishment at the time.

It looks odd as the ref makes out hes wiping his gloaves on his shirt but doesnt, he just pulls Froch in and turns his head to listen.

Frock was giving him a sign.. he whispered, " ok mate, im going throw hard flurries in the 9th and thats where u jump in.. dont forget what we rehearsed."..
