I did say at a superficial level. You are probably not a racist, but you are an elitist and you do blame poor people for their lot in life. It is a fact that black people are more likely to be poor in America and be locked up and you do blame them for not making a better go of it. It just isn't as simple as that as more and more poor white people are finding out. It is also a fact that you do advocate violence upon others, have a weird thing for guns, and advocate massive wealth inequality. Saying world star hip hop is the problem is just saying that poor whites can be moved from the equation.
It's all an American issue. I don't see violence or guns being a problem where I live though bling is an issue, but thankfully not in any ugly hip hop style. However, put you in my apartment complex and the perspective would change. It's an American issue, not a poor black issue. You are all shooting each other dead, threatening each other and allowing your governments to make a mockery of the world, and here you are playing the hypocrite. George Zimmerman turned out to be lovely, didn't he now? Trash is trash; wealth, creed, or colour.
I only blame poor people if they make their life worse by choices they make. Just because one lacks for money doesn't mean they lack intelligence.
black people may very well be more likely to be locked up but why? I'm going to venture a guess that the very culture I'm currently railing against is DIRECTLY responsible for not only prison numbers but also the number of young blacks who fail to reach adulthood.
I'm not elitist, I merely expect people to achieve to strive to be better. Is that so different from you expecting students in your classes to do well?

You are an elitist. You are one of the most devoted defender of elitism I have ever come across. You defend the inequalities of wealth in your country as though this is normal. It is not normal, your country hasn't seen this since before the 1920's. You continually blame it on the poor, the welfare mothers, the entitled protest movement, but you NEVER acknowledge that there is a serious societal imbalance. If you are going to fix a society, then you have to at least admit that something has gone wrong. You have bar staff on 2 dollars an hour and Walmart staff unable to support themselves.
I actually agree with aspects of what you say, I think there is a problem with entitlement in the West, but at the same time, I also acknowledge that society has gone badly wrong. You can't blame the poor and give the bankers and government a pass. It works both ways. Personally, I think there should be a one child per family policy and unless you can prove you can afford the second then you shouldn't have the second. I'm elitist too in that regard. I don't think having children is a right, it is a responsibility. If you cannot provide then you are selfish and out of control.
That has nothing to do with black culture though. I just think there are too many people on this earth and instead of increasing as governments demand, the opposite is required for the sake of all.
