I watched boxing as a kid and then followed certain fighters careers. Mostly Latinos (Oscar DLH, Barrera, Morales, Paez Sr. Chavez Sr. Castilloand so on)

I did get real hooked on boxing again during the Contender.

I started being more open minded and began to watch fighters like Tszyu, Hatton, Calzaghe also opened my racial blinders and began watching figthers like Tito and Cotto. Mexicans and Puerto Ricans have a huge rivalery in this sport.

I am no stranger to Ali, Norton, Foreman, Smokin Joe, Holmes or any heavy weights of that era.

Hated the Tyson era.

I am also no stranger to Ray, Hagler, MotorCity C, Duran. My favorite era.

Hate PBF with a passion.

Huge Miguel Cotto fan.

I could go on but I guess you get the idea.

I have tons and I mean tons of fights today and that is all I watch.

Hate the heavys of today and I think I dont stand alone on this one.

Manfredo has shown much more promise, though I suppose being a fan of the runner up and not the winner is what Old ladies and kiddies tend to do... What credentials do the Sergio fans base it on?...

Actually I think Sergio shows much more promise than Peter. Peter was dominated by Mora the first time, lost to Alfonso the first time, barely got past Joey Gilbert and Miguel Espino on the Contender and only really looked great against Pemberton.

The first fight with Mora I originally thought was a big win for Peter but after watching it a second and third time I think Sergio nicked it.

He was cut terribly in hte first round which threw him off his gameplan but he came back well.

I tend to think that a third match between the pair would be an easy UD for Mora.

Through out the Tornament he was walking around at a ridiculous weight, why do you think he looked better when he beat Mora (...:P), he was only at the weight for the weigh in, not days before it... same with pemperton he could fight at his weight.

If it was that easy guys would be coming down from all sorts of weights and beating up people well below them... :P

Yeah I knew that too.

He gets no credit yet he is a skilled boxer, exciting to watch and a real character.

I think he can do well at 160, obviously he has a long way to go but his skills are clear for everyone to see. He totally outboxed Regan last night, a guy whose height and reach advantages could have been real obstacles for Mora.

I think he's going to be winning for a while.

this is what i think happened

1. Mora wins the contender as a confident but not cocky, talented fighter
2. he gets fed bulllcrap by advisors who tell him he's great
3. he gets arrogant and becomes a grade a asshole
4. trys to compare himself to SRL....one of the best that ever lived


I hate mora now....he's so arrogant and will never do anything in boxing worthy of challenging sugars legacy....if your arrogant you nedd to be a good,actually great to be theat confident..people now dont like ali as a fighter and he's a legend
