Pac would fancy this fight I think..

LOL...... us true fans deal in facts, not fiction or boyhood "wet dreams". Canelo is a young pup..... Cotto is a sure-fire HOF'er with his place already prepared and dusted off. He calls the shots..... not Canelo. If Cotto feels fighting Martinez will do more for his legacy than fighting the Canelo who was just schooled by Floyd..... it's his call. Call it "too scared" or whatever you and VD want. It's Cotto in the driver's seat for the time being.
" driver's seat " lol... canelo puts more asses in the seats and brings more money to the table so who is really the boss between the two?

Cotto can get 10 mill for canelo, instead, he's leaning towards martinez for half of that... sounds like dumb business decision or straight up fear.. I think it's the latter

Cotto had his time but his days are all but over bruh and he sure dont have any upperhand over canelo in the negotiating table or inside the ring..

Floyd-cotto sold how many PPVs compared to Floyd-Canelo ?

    There ya go

Martinez is even more dangerous than Canelo, if true Cotto's doing what Mayweather (the man you call a cherry picker) wouldn't, which is fight the Lineal Middleweight Champion of the world, your mouth should taste of rubber with how much you stick your own foot in it

Prime martinez is a lot more dangerous than canelo and cotto would get nothing but praise for fighting him but circumstances has changed. Martinez had multiple knee surgeries and he's been inactive. That spells bad sign especially at his age and for someone who relies so much on mobility..

Cotto is facing him because he views this as an easier fight combined with the fact that its for the MW title.. but facing a near crippled man? Rubbishh

Wsup with cotto fighting all these handicaps.. first he tries to fight a one eyed man margo at catchweight, and now he's trying to sneak his way to a MW title by fighting a vulnerable old champ..

Why not face a young canelo forshitload of money? That fight brings him both credibility and money

Lets say cotto wins the MW title... would he unify against the likes of quillin and GGG? I bet u he wont..

No but if he beats Martinez it could set up a big fight v Canelo at MW and being the belt holder might allow him some say in fight terms. I actually think he has a better chance of beating Canelo then Martinez even now. I just don't rate Canelo that highly at all. He probably beats Cotto now but I think a prime Cotto beats a current Canelo. I have a feeling Caneloos beat is still to come though at a higher weight

I think Manny is a bit too small for Canelo but mercifully his hand and foot speed will help him win the fight. That being said I think he needs 1 or 2 more fights to see how he really is holding up. He's an old 32. He wars and climbing in weight takes its toll on you.

Which turned out to be the better fight?
You don't always get what you pay for.

Cotto fight was alot more exciting but that's beside the point..

Canelo sold hella lot more cuz he's the bigger draw... so who is the boss of cotto? Canelo..
