Manny did well with a few guys who were not super tall and lanky. De la Hoya used him, Holyfield used him.
I think Khan's best fit was Roach to be honest

Manny would have been perfect for Khan and I think he would have chosen him but probably heard about the illness and chose his current trainer.

steward liked to train those tall lanky fighters with a good right hand. He did well with guys like that; he pretty much spun his wheels otherwise. He made a mess of DeLa Hoya.
