Look at the shameful mismatches HBO had last weekend and this and then look at Showtimes lineup this weekend and it's an easy choice for me. I don't give two shits about announcers I usually mute them. I don't give two shits about production, I loved WWOS. I like fights. Showtime all day
whoever shows the best fights for the cheapest should be your choice.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Honestly I used to be a complete dedicated HBO guy. I think Larry Merchant was the greatest analyst of all time and it's a crying shame to see him go.
Max Kellerman is killing the channel, he has no idea what he is talking about and Roy was right to grill him the other night.
Before Larry left and Kellerman was left unchecked... This thread question would have been a laughable no brainer. The fact that anyone even seriously considers Showtime against HBO now is proof that Kellerman has gotta go!

All we knew about boxing on Saturday night was HBO. I hardly ever looked for SHOWTIME, it was just irrelevant- even when a fan fav was fighting.
BUUUUUTTTTTT.... SHOWTIME has put together STELLAR match-ups. HBO on the other hand has not been good with the match-making. Their fighter roster has also taken a little dip. Also, their marketing and promotions of the fighters are not up to standard these days- Their packaging of Ward, GGG and a few others make me wonder who in the hell is booking these matches and in charge of the promotional activities of the fighters on their network.
HBO is still the home for boxing, hardly anything will be able to take that away from them. But SHOWTIME is the place where the match-ups and more exciting fights are this time. Have to admit!
