Glad to hear it. Truth be told I really liked John back in the day, but boxing doesn't need protected guys like that who refuse to step up. Glad he got knocked off.

This is exactly how I see it. I was a fan of John, and thought he beat Marquez in a close fight, but then he stopped taking challenging fights. We'll finally get some clarity in the featherweight division.
