Nah ... that fight was already made and waiting. Had Floyd not fought Judah based on his loss to Baldomir he'd have been scorned for that, too. Baldomir hadn't beaten Gatti yet at that point, and his win over Judah ... it might have been a fluke. Even though we know it wasn't now we didn't necessarily then.

At any rate my point is that the Floyd - Judah fight had been there waiting to be fought, and the idea that Judah was already "done" ... I'm not sure it's even true now. I don't think Zab ever really stood up.

I have this funny feeling that Floyd is just going to beat everybody, in fairly outstanding fashion, and never get beat ... he'll walk through Hatton ... and he'll face the best fighters in his class and beat them handily ... and when his career is over, unblemished and undefeated, the complaint will be: "Yeah, but who did he ever fight?"

Even if he fights the best out there, it will only show that he fought no one that could really challenge him. And that will mean that he is less than he could have been, because of his competition.
