Charlo should be beyond this. This is a "watching sausage being made" type match. His brother is far ahead in development
I had to borrow a snow blower so I'll be mixing it up. Have to take advantage of what little light I get now. Broke a snowfall record Wed and Thurs. Did my deck Thursday night by hand and the driveway and could not get out the door this morning. It was like I never touched it.
Good whuppin by Charlo, broke him down and beat him up for an overdue stoppage
Time for step up.
I like Collazo over Ortiz. Stranger things have happened
Francisco Vargas 17-0-1 (13) and Jerry Belmontes 18-2 (5) in the 2nd round here...Belmontes not without skill coming up but Vargas way way too strong so far, Oscar Larios in your mug style
Bemontes sharp mid 3rd
Belmontes docked a point for LB in what was his most effective round...
Belmontes is a strange fighter. He has a jab that he does not use, lays on the ropes slipping punches which looks bad to the judges, attempts to keep his chin behind his shoulder like Floyd but really can't pull it off. Everything he does is too little or poorly executed.
I can't figure out what he's trying to do. He's not taking a lot of punishment, but he looks terrible. He did not win a single round.
I had him winning two. He is defence solid but his problem was he is a walking contradiction tonight. Instead of ripping off the hands after misses, he wayed in, shoulder first. The kid can box, He just doesn't know who he is.
WAR MIGHTY MIKE..am I the last of the tribe![]()

Whats up with the Lopez muffin top...he should be in top shape
Whew! Lopez just dropped off a solid JAB, clean clean. Start of 4th...have 2-1 Mike
This is turning into whos face holds together here...Mike boxing smart and landing. Both marked up. Lopez going for power brawling start 5th..
One last thing/question. When Arnaoutis was being asked if he could see out of the eye. Do you think he was saying? "No, I can't see now!" or "No, I can't see when I'm bleeding!"
The ref and the doc were asking about that moment but Arnaoutis was talking about when he was fighting and bleeding.
What else could have prompted that odd question? "Can you confirm that?"
If you think I'm wrong, tell me. I'm interested.
