Mann this fucking sucks. Mayorga needs to give up this MMA shit and dedicated himself to a real man's sport. He needs to box again..

IT's really sad seeing this former champ get beat by some mmgay bum for peanuts..

MMA is so boring. How can some of you manage to watch this crap?

Mayorga has no respect for himself or ANY sport he competes in these days.

He'd rather half ass it n take the fast money to lose in mma or kickboxing over rededicating himself to boxing and making a proper comeback.

Soooo I say fuck Mayorga and his mma n kickboxing career.

Hes got to earn a living and at least this is keeping him active. One of the judges had him winning this last fight. He got out of the same choke hold he was in last time but his fitness was shit but he managed to do 15 minutes and finish the fight on top of a more experienced thai boxer punching his head in.He will continue and who cares. Hes not gettng hurt, more fool to those who are paying him because hes learning on the job here.

So this was a proper mma match not a kickboxing match?

Ill have to watch the video. IF Mayorga starts coming in good shape and doing his best ill support him but I hate seeing him embarrass himself like he did against "level".

They went to the ground a few times and although Mayorgas belly doesnt look in shape id say hes actually been learning some stuff because he got out of any trouble relatively easily. His fitness let him down as he leant on the cage for long periods and a better fighter would have sorted him out but if he is to continue in MMA then this level of opponentisnt going to hurt him and you can see hes learning things and may progress but either way itskeeping him active and in some kind of shape.

Just finished watching it and I thought he won rounds 1 and 3. Very grueling and close fight that could have gone either way.

He's a tough old fatass that's for sure. Had to resort to some good natured hitting behind the head lol

Has no idea how to get out of the Thai clinch, but he can grapple a bit and defend knees. Turned around n got out of a rear naked choke as well.

Thats what I mean you can see hes progressing and as you say hes fat and tough. If he can keep taking low level opponents like this in MMA he will keep on improving and drop down a few weights where his strength will show more.

If Mayorga learns how to get out of the clinch he could beat that guy.

Shouldn't be slapping him tho as that kid was pretty respectful last time out.

Mayorga lost the rematch via submission to an arm bar.

Sad that he's 0-3 now in mma. Had a promising start kneein motherfuckers to the spine lol

He only threw punches in the fight, he didn't have a clue what to do when he was being tied up. He didn't throw any kicks or knees. He needs to go back to boxing he will never be successful in MMA.

If Kirkland has a first round like he did last time then Mayorga could still beat him. Otherwise, he probably isn't beating any names at this stage.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

Being realistic, his world title days are probably behind him now BUT that doesn't mean to say he couldn't create a couple of exciting fights and earn himself some cash.

Like you said, Kirkland then theres Ortiz, Berto, Rios (maybe). Plenty of fighters out there that could be matched with the guaranteed brawling of Mayorga and make an entertaining scrap.
