I fit into both categories. I was gutted when Marcos was so easily out boxed by Alexander and that worries me in this fight. But, Broner losing to Ponce and going tooth n nail with Malinaggi is encouraging.

I say Maidana gets hurt early as he's a slow starter. But, Broner better finish him or there will be hell to pay. Broner is very hittable.

Broner is clearly a turd, but I won't get on this train I think he has a lot more of a future in the sport than Maidana does and should win in a convincing fashion tonight. He's hittable but not easy to hurt from what I've seen. Maidana doesn't take it to the body well, and isn't about to be effective from the outside imo improved jab or not. Hope I'm wrong as upsets are always fun, it should be a really good fight either way.

What happened tonight was historic, and an exhilarating reminder of why I love this great sport. Maidens did a lot more than just win tonight and gave Broner a much deserved and needed lesson in humility with his fists. He said it himself about Broner's antics, "It's just talk."

I love that AB's entire crew was devastated and lost in the sauce as they watched their boy get beat down. Priceless.
