cc bro I'm shocked you actually favoured someone over Margarito!
He didn't. He said that Oscar could win at 154 but at 147 he said it would be "close" I would beat down Margarito like he did Mayorga. They throw the same punches

Well according to Margarito He was fired twice for roughing up Oscar up at big bear and Oscar has said he will not fight Margarito but he would like to see his Winky or Ouma fight him. Oscar knows Margarito can draw big money but he wants to make it hiding behind someone else.

Yeah I know you are going to now say that Williams claims to have nocked down Margarito in sparring and got fired for it but do a google search and find some of the articles by writers who were there and you will see a different story-I dont have time to look right now.

Sparring isn't a factor in what happens in the ring. Daniel Edouard roughed up Jermain Taylor a few times and what happened?

Sparring is a section where you test out your strategies and get your timing down and see how new things can work and how you have advanced in doing them and is a perfect spot to try out new things. It's not the place where you go all out and try to beat up your foe.

Sparring is a different story then getting in the ring where everything clicks.

Sparring is where you try to get the 'clicking' down in.

But at either weight I think DLH wins a wide decision!

I'll have to cc you tomorrow cause already gave you one today. But what I was saying is for El P to favour anyone over Margarito is huge! I was beginning to wonder if there was anyone he thought could beat Margarito.

I got you a coolclick for today just now.

But, I don't think so unless he gives Margarito a handicap.

He said 147 would be close.

And that DLH would only win by Wide UD at 154 because Margarito doesn't carry the weight well.

I would be surprised if he said Margarito would beat Ali! Margarito's a great kid, good for the sport, but he got a lot a flaws. I think he gives a lot of guys at 147 trouble but his next fight if it's against Clottey won't be a gimme!

It may be. Because I don't think Clottey looked that good in his last fight and was hit by the shots Margarito throws. Looking at his resume is ok, but looking at his style it looks like one Margarito loves to fight.

WOAH,back up kids!! I CLEARLY said Oscar would beat Toni at 154,read properly and second,I have NEVER NEVER NEVER said Tony is unbeatable and nor do I think that so to even insinuate it is silly. I just said he would KTFO Zab,would cause Floyd problems and at 147,would give Mosley and Oscar big problems. It's his size, conditioning and if you think he only throws wide looping shots, you either don't watch his fights properly or have not seen enough of him. He can loop and throw straight shots, the Cintron and Lujan fight being examples of both. As for Clottey,he's rugged, tough and dangerous. He can box and brawl and I expect it to be a close fight but I'm backing Tony.

As for Oscar Floyd,I'm backing Floyd, too much hype about Oscar's win over a limited Mayorga,Mayorga is no Floyd and that fight did not answer any questions about Oscar's conditioning etc. He will have the power to hurt Floyd but this is an old Oscar,he does not hav that zap anymore and I FULLY expect Floyd to win.

What do you mean Oscar "knows" Margarito can draw "big money," mate? Most people have never even heard of the guy. If money is the issue, Oscar makes much more fighting Shane, Winky, Floyd, Vargas--even Ouma, Cory Spinks or Zab would bring more money than Margarito.

You are probably just an armchair athlete. Yeah Margarito I am sure was warned to hold back but most fighters are especially prone to let it all out in sparring and it is a very good register of would would happen and that is why true boxers brag about there sparring matches. Go to a boxing gym and post me in the morning!

Well it is only common sence that oscar the business man is broadcating to the world that he has at least three of his big money fighters ready for Margarito although last night's Ishe match-up proves that port of his bragging is untrue. If it were true then he would have had Ishe in with someone of higher caliber. Oscar's main man Mosely though has spoken publicly that he wants the winner of Floyed-Margarito. Why? $$$$$$ so go do some google searches on Golden boy promotions.

Why don't you cut us all some slack & ease off with the insults...they don't further your arguements. You can talk to us all like an adult can't you? You have some good points here & there...no need in trying to crank up arguements with every other member you come in contact with.

    Ease up just a bit.

What's wrong with being an armchair athlete sourpuss?

Anyone that been on this forum for any length of time knows that you especially are being hypocritical (just go look at your own posts). This coming from you sounds like maybe you work for Golden boy
