Running from Pulev? You mean the guy Joey Abell knocked down? Wlad hasn't scheduled his next fight yet also he might have to make a mandatory defense of one of the titles he has but I can tell you this much Pulev ain't a "nightmare" for Wlad. I don't know if Wlad will fight Alex Leapi but it shouldn't be an issue for him.

Allow me to break down Kubrat. He's 6'4/6'5 and was 253 & 3/4 in his last fight, he's an orthodox fighter, he has 10 KO's in 19 fights, he lacks big pop, he is a solid technical fighter, he doesn't have many tricks up his sleeve or a difficult style and he lacks the intangibles to beat Wlad. Kubrat's chin has yet to be tested although his balance isn't the greatest that's for certain. Pulev couldn't even KO Travis Walker....Adamek and Browne both stopped Walker.

I think Pulev has good footwork and decent hand speed but there's little to no pop in his punches, and his defense doesn't really stand out to me.

I think he's just another victim in waiting, he's done right in preparations for a fight vs Wlad: Dimitrenko, Ustinov, Walker...you see the size and power those guys provide (power only provided by Walker truly) and that's a great step towards being ready for what Wlad will throw at him, but I think Pulev will end up catching a beat down because Wlad's hands are faster, his defense is better, and he has the power to drop anyone with either hand.
