I have to admit that it’s kind of grown on me even though it was totally unexpected. Watched the fight about 5 times now. A severe case of hubris. I bet he never even trained beyond cutting weight. Figured all he had to do was show up. And the window dressing for a corner never helped. Next time he should just bring hand puppets. Maybe he will take his craft a little more seriously now but I have this feeling he might go the way of Audley Harrison. Fell into those silk sheets just a little too quick. He's got the talent, speed and athleticism but he looked one dimensional when Maidana got him out of stride. Cant fight a lick off the back foot. I'm certainly not going to write him off like the majority of people are. I think he's a dick but I still say he can be a standout. Its up to him though. It wont matter who is in the corner if he does not change.

I agree the attitude he has towards his cornerman/trainer was unreal and he sounded like a spoilt brat.

But the warning signs were there from paulie and a tough welterweight like maidana had his number.

He wont want a rematch straight away as the consequence of another loss and possible ko would be devastating.

Lets see if he takes up mayweather sr offer to train him or not but i still feel he has alot to offer in boxing as he so young and very talented.
I hear you but if I'm Broner I'm staying away from Sr. He already has an odd obsession with his son and damn the drama would almost have its own taste. He needs to soul search. Not sure a celebrity trainer is a good idea and especially not Sr.

I'd maybe call up Goossen. He's somewhat a celeb but under the radar. The dude transferred Chico.

Yeah an immediate rematch is a bad idea. He needs to revisit his soul. Take a year and make the changes. He's still young.
