Weird this , why would you sign with a traine and then not even have a fight together ? I wonder who Price will hire now

Surprising turn of events this, I guess price wasn't getting the kind of training and support he was hoping for, it would have been interesting to see if Booth could have done anything with Prices defence....for me thats the root of all his problems!
I reckon stamina is the issue. To call yourself a 12 round fighter and to be gassed After three rounds was poor form Price. He needs to work on that if he wants to have any glory in boxing because any smart fighter will just take Price past the early rounds and blast him out like Thompson did. I hope Price can sort this out because he's a dangerous powerful fighter. But no stamina won't get you far and they won't all fall like the others did earlier in his career.
Booth knows he doesnt have what it takes to make Price in to a world beater and doesnt want to fail. With Haye, he had a relatively naturally gifted boxer who could at least run sideways away from anything coming back.
this relationship was never going to last. pathetic.
Hasn't Price signed up with the German promoter and already cancelled his scheduled fight?
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Perhaps price has passed his prime.
Perhaps the last tony thompson defeat really broke him.
He took alot of shots in that fight.
I like price but as someone mentioned can he really go 12 rounds.?
Wasn't this supposed to be his 2nd spell with booth?? I'm unsure why it didn't work out the first time round tho ? I agree with what most people are thinking that the split is completely different from the Groves situation and more to do with boxing ability
Price has always had a poor chin, but there again theses are BIG fighters and any punch will hurt
so we could be judging him harshly,! but in Prices case I think not.
I remember watching him in the amateurs, and he fell to bits after being hit on the chin, he has
all the attributes, he's big good boxer KO power but no stamina and a very poor chin.
As with the split from Booth, I feel Booth as a trainer was a poor choice on Prices part, maybe
he has found his level Price and reached it,! he's no World beater and I feel never will be he is
what he is domestic level fighter.![]()
It does seem like his career is hit the cross roads, I thought he would be more resilient that this. He must have about 8 good years in him, so why is it all going wrong?

Hopefully Price can work out his issues and be a force in the HW divison.
No shame in fighting hard and losing, but when you lose in embarrassing fashion like Price did to Thompson x2, you really need to go back to the drawing board and reinvent yourself.
Tommy Brooks is a former trainer of Wladimir's. I don't recall the last time he's really gotten someone to the highest level but whatever. I think Price main issue is between the ears, that is what needs to get fixed.
Perhaps David Price did not feel it was best to be part of a stable of fighters, but to be the 100% sole focus of a trainer.
Price needs to get in the ring, get some rounds in, and hopefully he can recover.
