It was unfortunate that the Watson thing happened. It made Chris think too much about the consequences and softened him a bit. Rather than go for a KO, he would coast purposefully to go to points amd it would often lead to draws.
I think a lot of knockouts happen because fighters are tired too, eubank didnt ever expend any uneccessary energy and it never got to the point where punches would do the kind of damamge to KO him due to fatigue

all this meant he was almost unknockoutable by head punches, the only time he showed any kind of weakness was to body shots, but you couldnt exactly call this a weekness

he went down to watson from a body shot, and collins but the collins one was more due to balance as i remember it, its been a while since i have seen any eubank fights so you could probably correct me but i dont remember any other body shots that put him down.
I said it on this forum a few years ago and its sort of unrelated but there was a couple of knockdowns, maybe only one that Eubank should have been awarded in the Collins rematch, it was a genuine knockdown and Collins bluffed the ref running over to wipe his gloves on the refs shirt. The knockdown awarded to Collins was bullshit, you could see Eubank lost his balance.

Also, was the knockdown of Collins in the 10th actually scored in the original fight?
