Default Who are the new boogeymen in boxing? Who was "exposed" as human?

Who sprang up in 2013 as the scariest or soon to be most avoided fighters? Also, who was knocked down a few notches after either losing a fight or having a harder time than we ight have expected?

Here are my choices for the new beasts that were born:

    • Sergey Kovalev
    • Adonis Stevenson
    • GGG
    • Mikey Garcia (Not necessarily making everyone run the other way but I don't see anyone stopping him anytime soon)

Here are who I think got knocked down a few notches:

    • Lucas Mattheysee
    • Adrian Broner (Not that he was seen as a beast before but he was rated a lot higher, I don't think the Maidana loss knocked him down it was actually the Malignaggi win that exposed him a bit)
    • Abner Mares - I was very surprised by the loss he took as I felt he was heading towards pound for pound ranking status.

Who do you think are the new dragons and who lost some of their invincibility factor?

Froch seems to have lost quite a bit of his fear factor. Def not seen in the same light he was after he destroyed Bute.

In hindsight we will probably see that the Bute fight was his peak, all depends on how he looks on his next fight.

Kubrat Pulev was looking good up until he looked dull and clueless against an out of shape Thompson and then his last fight he looked shit.

Provodnikov has that wide eyed walk through Hell while smiling thing going for him. Put himself right in the top tier over two fights in very brutal fashion.

Adonis Stevenson is powerful and Broner was exposed at welterweight.
