    alternate names/styles for the various Asian countries:

    Thai = Muay Thai (modern sport), Muay Boran (older bareknuckle - actually there are loads of older Thai bareknuckle styles - Tony Jaa's Ong Bak and Yamada: Samurai of Ayothaya featured some thai BK), Krabi Krabong (weapons art)

    Chinese - Kung Fu/Gong Fu ... Wushu; Guoshu = general terms of CMA

    specific styles = Hung Ga (Wong Fei Hung and some of the oldschool Shaw Brothers was Hung Ga);

    Wing Chun/Wing Tsun/Ving Tsun (Warriors Two, Prodigal Son, Invincible Shaolin, Ip Man 1-2 = all featured WC);

    Tai Chi/Taiji = Man of Tai Chi, Tai Chi Zero, Tai Chi Master

    -------

    Korean - TKD is probably the most popular style in the world (loads of dojangs (schools) that teach kids), but another popular KMA = hapkido - the late Tom Laughlin of Billy Jack fame - master that doubled for him is a HKD master (Bong Soo Han) as well as Ji Han Jae, the master that fought Bruce Lee in 2nd level of pagoda in Game of Death

    --------

    JMA = has karate, as well as judo, kendo (sword sport/way of life), kenjutsu (swordsmanship - Christopher Lambert in The Hunted, Tom Cruise's Last Samurai), kyudo (archery), sumo, and aikido (steven seagal is most famous for using aikido in movies)

    I like snake in the eagles shadow and this film is the same type of film. Jackie training is awesome in Fearless Hyena.

    This is how a real martial artist throws kicks.. Not those gay mma fags throwing these stiff half assed kicks.

    what is called "3" is probably The Legend is Born... doesn't star Donnie Yen. Stars Dennis To, who played the student (with mustache/beard with beanie cap) of Sammo Hung who starts trouble in Ip Man 2. He's a wushu champ and had a chance to star. Of note, Ip Man's real-life son, Ip Chun, plays Leung Bik, who teaches Ip Man some WCK. Ip Chun also was technical advisor in Ip Man 1 (and maybe 2)

    I met Donnie Yen at the NYC screening of his new movie Special ID, after Ip Man 1 played, he showed up for a Q&A and mentioned at some point he will do Ip Man #3.

    edit: yes, covers when he was a student.

    #3 - not to be confused with Ip Man the Final Fight starring Anthony Wong as Ip Man -- middle-aged until his death.

    It was IP Man Final Fight. All about the Grand Master.

    Have you seen The Chinese Connection?

    Think you asking Master about The Chinese Connection

    but yes, I have

    nice remakes by Jet Li (Fist of Legend), Donnie Yen's TV series, Fists of Fury, and Donnie's continuation Legend of the Fist: The Return of Chen Zhen.

    Donnie is built but he never showed it in any of the IP man films.
