It can be argued that Froch should have given Groves a little more credit to Groves after the fight and quite possibly conceded he underestimated him and was outfought by him!!!

But if it was me against a man who had run his mouth for 3 months on the build up to the fight and had disrespected my career achievements, insulting me at every opportunity....would I Not a fecking chance and neither would the majority of the people shouting that he should, I would wallow in victory with a Rye smile on my face and an Index finger firmly positioned in the air at anyone suggesting I should!

not for one second am i suggesting that froch owe groves anything after the fight, if i was him after the build up id be just as inclined to rub groves face in it

but in terms of his fan base and the way he is now perceived you have to say that he could maybe have said something else

I cant disagree with you, he never actually covered himself in glory and could have given a little more in way of credit for the way Groves controlled the fight....but you got to admit Groves is an irritating little tit-head, it would be difficult to give him anything
