That would be a killer fight, I want to say Maidana knocks him out but that all depends if he hits harder than Cotto, If he does I think Margo would have been stopped, but damn that would be a killer war while it lasted

WHy do you feel that Maidana can beat Margarito?

Lets say it was the Margarito that showed up against Cotto I, he didn't have one punch ending power he wore Cotto down and along the way he was getting beat up. If Maidana is a bigger puncher than Maidana stops Margo.

Everything Maidana does, Margarito can do it better and he's bigger so I dont see why he wouldnt be favored..

Maidana and Cotto are like night and day btw.. Cotto was effective against Margarito in the first fight due to his boxing ability, speed, and combination punching .. Punching power didnt have much to do with it..

Maidana dont have those traits.. He's basically a smaller version of Margarito and he would be fighting a mirror image of himself. He would get his ass beat

Maidana hits harder than Margarito, he may even hit harder than Cotto so it would basicially be a war of attrition and El Chino has shown he can get off the canvas to knock people out.

Margarito being bigger doesn't do much for him because he smothered his work a lot of the time and didn't use his height.

If it was the Margarito that showed up in Cotto II, it would have looked worse for MArgarito as he didn't have as much on his punches that night.
