What does it say about the WBC that a boxers words could even affect his ranking in the first place. It really is the worst organization of them all. There was a picture a while back of Jose Suliman on his hospital bead, any word on whether he's likely to die soon or not? Probably wouldn't matter but we can hope.

We can all say that nobody cares about the alphabets, and most fans dont, but the vast majority of fighters always will until there is a more tangible way to guarantee future earnings and opportunities. These crooks have very close ties with promoters and managers and they can make an impact on just about any boxer in the title picture if they so choose. Sucks, but Fury will probably either have to make an apology for this or be refused a crack at WBC eliminators and what have you.

He has already won an eliminator. Iv never ever heard of a fighter being threatened to lose his ranking because hes said a sanctioning body is treating him unfairly

Oh for sure, nothing Fury said was even untrue or defamatory by the sounds, it's a complete joke. I had no idea they made Arreola-Mitchell an elim or anything, Stiverne already beat Cris quite clearly and that rematch is wasting time, although it could be a good fight. If Fury wanted Stiverne and didn't get an opportunity he has every right to call them out on it, but he might get dropped from their freaking rankings completely? Couldn't make it up.

Here we have a man screaming just to fuckng fight and everyone seems intent on doing their best to avoid him and even drop him from rankings all together so everyone then has a genuine reason not to fight a non ranked fighter!

I hope he now does cram some fights in.

If nothing else this is raising his profile still. I just hope he gets some rounds in soon before a big fight has landed in his lap and hes not fought anyone competetive for over a year.

#1 There are like 35 billion sanctioning bodies in boxing, the WBC is only 1.

#2 Who HASN'T Tyson Fury annoyed? If not with his disdain for boxing politics then with his goofy accent and delusions of grandeur.
