I always thought Pryor was a little overstated and puffed up and in large part because he stuffed his career momentum into a straw. He was a whirlwind dynamo, loved to fight into the pain and deceptively fast but he was very hittable and quick to give up a defence for fury.

Sugar Ray Leonard would have made him look foolish. He had bigger fish to fry though and I do not buy thatchexwas afraid of Pryor, despite the infamous press conference video.

That was the first time I have seen that press conference incident. That was funny, Pryor really wanted it. I know he also wanted to fight Macho Man.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
