Some of you guys dont seem to understand where jahmez is coming from..
One can appreciate artistry but that doesnt mean that they have to be thrilled by the work..
Jackson pollock for instance. As an art enthusiast, I do appreciate his artwork but does it touch me? Nope..
Floyd mayweather reminds me of those fine bitches who play hard to get. She have all the tools yet she refuses to put it all out.. she may kiss you , touch u, and tease u in all kinds of ways but the bitch never fully lets go..
Ya ever seen kim kardashian sex tape? That bitch is super hot but she cant fuck, its as if she's holding back because she can..
As talented as floyd is, he can dictate the fight and put on a show more often but he doesnt. He's so much quicker and his reflex is that much faster than his foes which means he can be more offensive yet he doesnt let his hands go enough.
Even in other sports like basketball and baseball, its the offensive players who make headlines more than the defnesive ones..
Floyd is truly one of a kind but there is a reason why many people dont like him and it is no fuckin mystery.. he's not exciting..
I would pay to watch well rounded boxers like marquez and Linares over floyd anyday...

we can only hope and pray that this will be his last fight. then maybe we can get a champion in there who is willing to take chances and not fight only fighters he knows he can beat. this whole pacquiao fiasco is sickening. gayweather could prob/possibly beat manny, but as always, he wont even try the challenge. pathetic!
PLEASE RETIRE Floyd. us boxing fans are sick of your bullshit.

Khan ..Maidana..Garcia.. Pac
3 of these guys could easily be in the mix for his remaining fights.
Porter...Alexander and Brook could be fringe.
Who else do you think he should fight
Apart from these guys?
Theres no one left...he's beaten them all.
Only a fool would suggest Mayweather isn't a legend already.
Go look back through the list of fighters he's beaten.
His record is incredible![]()

I'm no fan boy of Floyd but appreciate what he does which is make the elite look < elite. I was once a Floyd hater. After the Hatton fight I wanted to kill Cortez. I thought Chico would kick his ass. Its always good to revisit and look back with an open mind with the characters in this sport to preserve any sense of objectivity this sport has left. Its like a castle of crooks and charlatans. If not for what happens within the squared circle from time to time it would almost not be worth paying attention.
What I would like to know is who all of these people are that he has ducked? I would like to see a list with names and times? People keep saying he did all this hand picking and only fought those he could beat but there is little if any evidence of that. Any evidence is certainly subject to scrutiny. I mean starting with Castillo if Floyd was the ducker people claim he is/was then he would have never rematched him after such a tough fight. Inside his mind Floyd almost took the first fight as a loss and did what others before him did like Leonard and Robinson.
Speaking of Robinson, most peoples GOAT but not mine, he clearly ducked the crew that made up Murderers Row and specifically Charley Burley but somehow gets a pass. Moore who was also part of that crew was ducked by everyone and fought 160 times before he got a title shot. Many of his duckers are enshrined as atg's. Jack Dempsey never fought a black man and backed out of a Greb fight. I could go on....
So I'd like a list of the guys he ducked leaving out the ongoing circus. If you cancel out the other usual suspect in Margarito(like it or not is was soon after the split),there is no list. I'm eager to hear who they are. Btw, does anybody actually believe that Margareto ever had a chance at beating Floyd?
If you want to continue to call Floyd a ducker then apply some historic meat to it for context and validity instead of simply saying it. If you want to start a top 50 "ducker" list starting with the time Sullivan laced them on in 1882, I guarantee you Floyd wont even make the grade.
Well, let's respect the decision of Mayweather about his career but we are simply hoping some young boxer kicks his butt as well
Oh by the way, local prints here in the Philippines reported a dare of Manny Pacquiao to Mayweather. Check it out at Pacquiao’s dare to Mayweather: Let’s fight for charity | Inquirer Sports.
For sure. People like to have this romaticized view of "the good old days" where men were men and everyone fought everyone for the love of boxing. BULL SHIT! It's always been about risk and reward.
Ray Robinson didn't fight those guys on Murderer's Row. I don't believe for a second Ray was afraid of any man in the ring, but why would he fight those guys, which would equal a tougher fight for less money, when he could have an easier fight for more money against a well known/mob backed guy? This has been going on since boxing existed, and we're going to say Floyd is garbage because the Pacquiao fight didn't happen? Come on.

Biggest earner in boxing history isn't the same as biggest star. Lets be honest now.
If you asked non boxing nerds who the biggest earning sports star in the world is, you'd be there forever until you said "I'll give you a clue it's a boxer" - then they'd say Tyson.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.

I'm one of those people a fair bit of time and to be honest I dont think the "risk and reward" angle is the same at all today and for a litany of reasons. In many past eras people took risk in order to reap the reward. Now in large measure people either get reward for little risk or claim the reward to little to take the risk. But that's another thread.
Its the "ducking" thing that is getting to me when Floyd is talked about. Its thrown around like he's some kind of chronic and practices it as a matter of course and yet its not even clear that he has done it even once. Its an accepted truth with really no basis in fact. That's my beef here.
