...and southern California is such a great place for recent immigrants who aren't rich and white. People in America are so tolerant and accepting. There's hardly any violent crime on the streets or rampant corruption or racism at every level of government. The political climate and socioeconomic classism not to mention the piss poor education and health system are truly desirable environments in which to raise a family!

It's a perfect place to go if you've been given a great big wedge of cash by a promoter and a big fat contract as well. Anywhere short of a war zone is perfect when you've got money. And fighters take the most money on ofer which is why guys like Bute and Pascal ended up Canadian and not another nationality.

Found out today a local smoke shack owner went down to the Bell Center for the fight. 8 hour drive. He said he was really disappointed. On paper, it seemed like it would be a great fight.
