There are extremists in every right wing party, and that is one of them. They are very much lone voices in them though. It's a stupid thing to say and more like something you would expect in America.

All those dry, dusty drought ridden countries in the world should just legalise gay marriage. Hey presto, they will get loads of rain.

I wonder who should tell Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Iran, Yemen etc that a different God has the answer, and that actually gays are their salvation?
