Tyson fury is up against Gonzalo Omar Basile

I'm a Fury fan but this is really really poor from him. I understand they want a bum, and they're strapped for money which has seen a lot of fighters pricing themselves out of the fight but going over old ground would be more productive than this fight. Fight Fres Oquendo, even fight Kevin Johnson again for 12 rounds if you want to get rid of ring rust but whats the point of fighting someone who would even be considered a poor choice of sparring partner? I hope he has a good year but untill he puts together a complete performance against a decent opponent you can't call him a contender to fight for a title.

A lot of tattoos... i wonder if he gets a new one every time he is ko'd....

ranked as the number 4 heavyweight in argentina and in the top 100 in the world according to boxrec... ............... also ko'd n the first round by the brazillian fellow fury ko'd a while back

Lol, yeah that's a terrible record this guy is rocking, pointless. Why wasn't it just Fury fighting Chisora on this card, there's still no opponent for him as well right?

Again what's ur point? Pulev just beat Thompson, Ustinov and Dimitrenko in his last 3 fights and Abrel was a late replacement (1 weeks notice I think) so didn't have long to find anyone better. His competition has been a lot better then Furys if you are trying to make a comparison. I don't think Pulev is particularly good anyway. Him and Fury would be a good fight but like most potential fights probably won't happen. Doubt Fury will fight anyone with a pulse unless the money is big and right now that's only Haye and Klit, maybe Joshua or Price in a few years.

106? Where you seeing that? Boxrec? Again showing what a retard in if you take anything from their ranking system, particularly outside the top 10. I dont see any difference between Sherman and Basile. If they were to fight Id expect Williams to win. Williams would have been a good opponent for Tyson Fury at this stage, at least he can get through a few rounds.

Give Fury a break, he has been messed about and knocked off track. I beleive Fury is mentally fragile and may have drinking and mental issues because he does tend to over react to situations like saying he is retired or fight every month. We need to see how he does again from step 1. He is still very young.
