People have very high expectations these days. I mean Sugar Ray Robinson on 122 occasions fought a guy with 10 or less wins or 10 or more losses. Today we would tear his record apart. The greatest to ever lace them up and it would be brutal. Not every fight is a great fight.
There's a clear motivation to get the PR fanbase on board. So we should be real about what is going on and move on. His career will no be defined by this fight so why argue about something that won't be remembered? If his next fight isn't a good one there's a problem but one showcase fight isn't something to get worked up over.
