I picked Collazo to win a decision not by KO.

    That was eye popping.

Finito stop picking against me! Lol

So old Graveyard teeth won by KO eh? Good for him, highly doubtful he fights Floyd though. Beating Ortiz doesn't earn you a shot vs Mayweather.

I'd love to see him fight the winner of Broner vs. Maidana 2.

Collazo deserves a big payday and opportunity. Really makes you feel good for him getting this big win over Ortiz.

    Beating Berto does though apparently.

It doesn't hurt his chances though. He'll be on considerably more monitors now and the win did look--I don't want to say easy--businesslike describes it better.
I was looking forward to this fight to see if Ortiz could shake the quitter label and see a good fight.

Collazo v Broner might actually be a helluva fight. Give Broner a chance to see a guy who actually knows how to use the shoulder to catch and shoot.

Collazo said that Ortiz told him he would retire. I'd like to see Collazo take on berto again or Soto karas before he takes on people like Maidana and Broner. This fight didn't make him to fight top elite fighters now.

I wouldn't necessarily call Broner elite. Haven't seen anything firm to suggest it and he has a lot to prove himself.

Don't think it was the opponent but the way it was done.
No matter what Ortiz is today, that was a terrific performance. One he can look back on with pride. IMO

Collazo lost to Berto and Hatton but he really won those fights. He also gave Mosley a pretty good fight. All elite fighters here.

Considering Collazo beat Hatton, Berto, Ortiz and gave Mosley just about all he could handle (boring chess match type fight), I would say Collazo is ready for more elite opponents.

Its crazy how underrated Collazo is and it stems from the Berto and Hatton fights which goes down as loses for him. I dont think there is a better pure boxer out there except maybe PBF.

Collazo has serious skills thats been tried and tested against top level fighters over and over. Its about time this dude gets his due.

With all this being said, all that matters in boxing is the W/L columns. It doesnt matter who really won, all that matters is who won in the record books. So out of all of Collazo's top level fights (Hatton, Berto, Mosley, Ortiz) he only gets "credit" for one (Ortiz).

Also, if you notice, neither Hatton, Mosley or Berto fought Collazo again even tho he desreved a rematch in each of them.

Collazo is the craftiest of southpaws and no one likes going up against that.

Mosley won damn near every round against Collazo and shut him down.

Berto vs. Collazo was razor thin, but I begrudgingly felt Berto edged it.

Collazo schooled Hatton pretty well n def won.

Honestly, a Berto rematch could be a very good thing for Colllazo if no huge fights are immediately available.

Ortiz fighting Berto again makes a lot more sense than Collazo doing so, Luis has never been embarrassed in the ring and is coming off a great win! What's the point in wasting that momentum on a guy who is in ruins, when he's in a loaded division

The winner of Broner-Maidana 2, Khan if he doesn't get the Mayweather fight, Keith Thurman, Malignaggi, Shawn Porter, Danny Garcia should he move up, would all be excellent opponents for Collazo. Every single one of those fights are pick ems or near it and would be exciting. The winner or loser of Pac-Bradley 2 as well could be an option. He's not going to get a Floyd fight I imagine, but otherwise the guy is right in the mix and shouldn't waste his time. Anyone know who he's promoted by? That will have a lot to do with who he fights next of course.
