In a very short timeframe I've become quite sick of Groves. The man seems to complain about everything.

My thoughts on the request, it's a waste of time.

Take your career high payday 99% of the world would love to receive and consider a life changer. Be happy with it. And if you win you are a champion. That's the dream right? How the hell can anyone be unhappy getting a shot at your life long goal while being paid nearly 2 million dollars? It's offensive really.

I think it's cunning and clever how he's managed to stall the carear of froch it's clear that all the pissing and moaning is really getting to Carl , but I have a feeling this time GG could be digging his own grave,, it's got me thinking do any of them want to have a rematch really??

Its not stalling Froch at all. The IBF have a time frame for them to fight, Froch either takes that route or ditches the belt and fights Chavez who already has a fight lined up.

Yes I'm also getting tired of George Groves complaining. I'm pretty sure he thinks his path is paved with gold and he's a nailed on Global superstar. Should they fight and Froch bashes him up no one will give a fuck.

It's not going to happen and it SHOULDN'T happen, because it sets a dangerous precedent that would see every sore loser protesting stoppages after the fact.

Bad stoppages are a part of boxing. Nothing you can do but move on with your career and try to get Froch back in the ring and right the wrong with your fists.

It's good to see someone who cares more about their 0 than the £££££ $$$$$$ they could be making.

    It's refreshing.

I'm a big fan of Groves, but he's gone too far with this. There's no way they'll make it a no contest, but if they did, does that mean that Groves and Froch should return their purses, cos it's not just them who were robbed of not seeing a proper outcome, it was the fans, so they should be refunded. Groves is in danger of seeing all those fickle fans who booed him into the ring and cheered him out of it turn against him again.

Groves could very well have been on his way to getting legitimately stopped and Froch probably took him a little too lightly.

As it happens he managed to look good against Froch, lose in the best possible way (controversially) and make Froch look like a dick afterward.

Why is he now being so pathetic? Is he trying to actively undo the good graces the loss made the public give him?

i agree with your first sentence, i also think it could have just as easily have gone the other way, froch was on his way, he had been stunned badly only a few seconds before the end by a jab, one more big punch from groves and it could have been all over

groves did look good against froch, he beat him up for 7 rounds and the last 8 and 9 were just a more even

i personally think hes doing the right thing now, keep the fight in the headlines and force the rematch

i like Carl Froch by the way, hes been my favourite fighter over the last several years

Groves played good mind games with Froch,! he got under his skin Carl before and after the
fight, yes Froch made himself look and sound like a dick.
George plays the game well, it's all hype and bullshit just think how much he makes on that

Groves isn't forcing the rematch he's trying to force Froch to dump that poxy belt. He's already admitted turning down more dough than he'll get if the fight goes to purse bids. Yet he's still fucking about.

He'd rather fight Joe Soap for that IBF belt than rematch Froch. If Froch drops the belt the majority of dummies are gonna believe he "ducked" Groves. And Groves will dine out on it.
