His son who has apparently shown promise to an experienced pro trainer.

At the very least hos dad can tell him about the business side. More power to them!

I know there are great fighters whos fathers fought and ended up having far better careers than their fathers but I cant think of any off the top of my head and cant be bothered to search either

Tommy Hearns son is not one, neither is Chavez's son.

Doggs, joe blow Ronald is an embarassment but Chavez jr exceeded expectations, u gotta admit..

Think about when he was coming up as a prospect.. people were saying he would get knocked out by the first fighter with a pulse but he went above and beyond all that.

Chavez Jr is a legit fighter...

Ronald is not an embarrassment and neither is James McGirt Jr. or Pryor's son or Dyah Davis.

They did not get ALL of their Father's genes, only half. And naturally they did not grow up as impoverished and hungry as their fathers.

They made the most of what they had and were PRO fighters with over a dozen fights or so and winning records which is a hell of a lot more than anyone on this forum.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
