.
That's exactly what I thought. If and when the ppv fails it was the fans fault because Floyd gave them what they wanted. I hope they have a decent undercard to help out the numbers.
I hope it crashes and burns. People rewrite history to fit their agendas but many many people thought Floyd genuinely feared Canelo and wouldn't fight him. That's why that fight sold huge. Canelo was a good opponent until Floyd made him look like a bad opponent. If this next fight does terrible September might bring another good opponent.

From now on, PBF is after all time greatness, so he needs to do something way out there. How about this? He fights Khan on Saturday, knocks him out in 2 rounds and is still fresh enough to fight at LMW against Lara the following night! No problem making the weight for the 2nd fight and double PPV clicks!

    Why NOT Tim Bradley?

Maidana has power, but that's about it Devon Alexander outboxed him, Khan outboxed him, Kotelnik outboxed him....who in the world would think "Well Floyd can't handle that guy"

Khan has been stopped and wobbled by some feather fisted bums and IMO other than fast hands he's got nothing to fall back on. I don't know of many people who think Khan can win, they think he might "give Floyd trouble" but I don't want to see Floyd get "trouble" I want to see Floyd get "tested by a worthy opponent"

TIM BRADLEY, he fought and beat JMM and Pac, he more than anyone else has EARNED his shot!
Feather fisted bums? Garcia and Prescott aren't feather fisted

I remember a while back Khan got found out to have hundred of thousands of fake twitter followers, apparently his management brought him a load to make it more impressive. If they wanted to fight all they would have to do is allow these fake followers to vote for Khan since its all done through facebook or twitter on mayweather promotions website.

Let's see if Floyd will pick the social media poll winner Maidana.

Bradley doesn't really want to fight Mayweather... So you guys should all settle down.

"I'll fight whoever the fans want, as long as it's one of my two choices.." Reminds me of when Henry Ford said buyers can have any color they want as long as its black.

Khan's not even looked remotely like he could pose a threat to a concensus, top pound for pound, future first ballot hall of fame fighter. He's been ko'd, wobbled, outworked, outsmarted on different occasions by fighters of different calibers.

Maidanas been outworked by Lopez before that last surge. The body shot by Khan that dropped him could've exposed weakness. At least maidana has invented himself since then and comes into a fight on a high note, with something to offer. (he wont promise a brawl and then be looking to outbox Floyd like Canelo)

Both these guys are being set up to be knocked out to make floyd look even better. When floyd knocks out khan, will anyone be shocked? When floyd takes maidana into deep water and drown him and ko's him when he fades, it still appears impressive in light of maidanas more recent accomplishments. Pick Khan if you want a better promotion (better talk up to beating once Khan unravels) or pick Maidana for a boring promotion but a longer drubbing with more chance of fireworks before maidana fades.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

Maidana is the easiest opponent since Gatti.. floyd hasnt scored a legit KO in awhile but he would score one here.. I cant see maidana lasting more than 8 rounds..

He's too wide open, he's nothing but a target practice... If I was floyd, id be licking my chops with the thought of facing maidana.. it would be so much fun to display all his arsenal..

Maidana is by far the easier fight for Floyd a guy Amir beat fair and square in a cracking fight.

Maidana will just be a sitting duck and all Floyd seems to fight these days are the same type of "come forward" fighters with little speed.

    Tailor made opponent again

I hope this voting bullshit swings round in Khans favour and we get the fight real fans wanna see...

Floyd facing someone with serious speed.

    again i agree

a fight with khan might even be over quicker than a fight with maidana but at least there will be some fireworks along the way

he has a better chance of winning than maidana, best maidana can hope for is a shut out loss

I think khans chin will let him down tho, but i think the fight will be at a lightning pace and he will win his fair share of rounds before that happens

ITs amazing that everyone is saying which fighter has the best chance of giving floyd trouble, not which can actually win. what is wrong with you fans. WHy do you want to see him walk through to fighters. Its like paying to watch the seahawks destroy your local highschool team.

He needs to fight pac or bradley, or step up in weight. if not fucking retire
