Alright Cunty McCunterson, how's about you explain how Obamacare deincentivizing people going to work is going to "fix" this wealth gap issue you seem to be so fucking worried about?

It's good to see you so concerned about those black teens Lyle. Obama hasn't done nearly as much as he could do for unemployed people but that's partly due to the fact that everything he's tried has been blocked by the GOP. The GOP are currently blocking the continued payment of unemployment benefits to all the people their policies were making unemployed at the rate of nearly a million people a month when Obama took office.

They would fail to qualify for SUBSIDIES not "Obamacare"....how that would decrease an INCOME or WEALTH gap is beyond me. I am happy that you believe people will leave their jobs flipping burgers at minimum wage and magically make millions of dollars, but it's not going to happen that way....in fact some citizens STILL won't be covered by any kind of healthcare, but heck it's only the CBO that says that.

Yes blocked by the GOP. Why who knew the GOP could be so fucking powerful when they only held 1 house of Congress. You are fucking pathetic, "He could have done more without the GOP" oh I'm sorry I thought President Obama was going to be Mr. "Bring Both Parties together" I thought he was going to HAPPILY reach across the isle and get deals done........but when President Obama HIMSELF (ooooh capitalized words, hear that dog whistle yet?) says he "Will NOT compromise" and he "will NOT negotiate" well I guess he's showing what a true leader is right? W worked with the democrats a lot more than Barry has worked with the GOP but that's probably because racism you know....not because he's just trying to get his way all the time and being petulant about it. No wonder YOU like him.

And I worry about unemployment especially among at risk teens because if there are more teens who are unemployed then the likelihood they fall into ooooh I don't know some kind of gang activity increases and crime is a burden on society not something that drives an economy.

Yeah Obama is really growing the economy at a frightening pace isn't he? Does that water you tote for Barry ever get heavy?

If you've got no health insurance but then you've suddenly got insurance you're effectively a lot wealthier.

The GOP have been blocking everything Obama has tried to do since he took office.

You only need to hold one house to block everything you want to block, other than crucial things like the debt limit where the GOP just caved again today thankfully.

Now Obama hasn't been able to do very much due to obstructionism but he could at least have been talking about what he wanted to do to try and explain to the public why the economy is so fucked up right now. He didn't do it in his first term to avoid being painted as a socialist, he was like every first term prez primarily concerned with getting re-elected. Now he can start to talk about it even if he can't do anything about it, hopefully he'll keep talking about inequality.

Obama hasn't been able to do much? Executive Orders anyone? He's rolled out Obamacare in an unconstitutional way.

Ah right, so you now want him to turn into a socialist dictator and unilaterally decide to overrule both houses of congress and the judiciary and borrow trillions of dollars to put Americans back to work, effectively re-regulate the financial sector, massively raise taxes on top earners and corporations etc etc. I can only guess what you'd be saying if he'd attempted something like that.

    Obamacare hasn't been done unconstitutionally.

Lots more people will have health care. The difference between being covered when you have a medical emergency and losing what little you have obviously is the singlemost thing that can be done to narrow the wealth gap. There'll still be about 50 million Americans, mostly working poor, with zero health coverage but Obamacare is better than nothing.

People are disincentivised to work because once they go over a certain amount of earnings they fail to qualify for Obamacare. So they'll stay under a certain earnings threshold by cutting some hours, and most of these people we're talking about second or third low-paid jobs. So Obamacare will create vacancies for lots of low-paying part-time jobs. Unfortunately in modern-day America employers will have no problem finding replacements and for the replacements at least their new second or third jobs will help brisge their individual wealth inequality gap.
