He'll still have no problem winning the Australian heavyweight title but once he goes past domestic level I can see him struggling.

Best thing we ever did was send him to Australia. Never forgive the fat git for beating our Henry. I hope they feed him to Wilder!

If there is an athletic commision in America that will sanction him, they need to be shut down.

Harry Gibbs and Henry Cooper, both sadly deceased, true quote after the Cooper fight.

Henry - 'I thought I nicked it Harry'
Harry - 'Henry - Champions don't nick fights'

My Joe Bugner memorabilia collection has now doubled in value! Bring it on Joe! (and I think 63 is a bit kind, he's one month younger than me, and I am 64)

    Oh hell why not?

On the other hand.... maybe it's his way of poking fun at the Geriatric Comeback Kids in the heavyweight ranks today.

In the space of ten years he lost to Joe Fraizer (no shame) and His son Marvis (so much shame).

People, that decade was 73-83, how can he have possibly improved in the following 31 years?

    Good luck to him.

Who knows eh? I mean look what Foreman did after 7 years. Consider the state of this soft division. He's probably coming out of retirement out of frustration having been witness to it.

Good article here about Bruno v Bugner, didn't realise it was Barry Hearns first night of boxing promoting.

Blimey, it wasn't even shown live. An hours delay which was only made public two days before the fight, as Hearn had said it wont be broadcast live on TV all along.

They offically announced it in September, the fight took place in October.

It was only 25 years ago. Are we even on the same planet?
