1) Meaning of life is to do what all your ancestors did pass on your genetics.

To fuck (pro-create), and to eat enough food so you do not die.

2) Humans are higher than animals, searching for a meaning to life is not a one fits all size.
You could do what the classical philosophers preach and live a virtuous life. Basically live a life without sin, karma and be good to one another.

3) I believe you must strive to excellence, maybe not perfection but you should pursue excellence and refinement, whether this be in a career, caring for others, (volunteering, nursing), cooking great food or eating it, purchasing great beer and wine, enjoying the consumption or brewing it, reading great novels or writing them, listening to great music or producing it. Fitness, improving your body and excelling by being in great shape.
Enjoying the higher cultures and producing the best.

Now without the first, you will not achieve much if you don't eat, some people don't want kids but I am not that person so I can not promote this lifestyle, but have sex a few times in this life you only get one life and it is very enjoyable.

The second, being a good person and not doing bad things, Great!, sounds like a good way to live life, but you can argue what is good and what is bad, I will leave it up to the individual.
This is the point people go overboard on religion and classifying what is sinful behaviour.

The third pursuing excellence, is a ideal and you will get distracted and regress from time to time, being the best doesn't sound like a bad life choice.
