Clever, but as an attorney, I can tell you it's blatantly transparent and you'd be just as liable for copyright infringement. If you got sued--and that's a big, huge, "if,"--it's highly unlikely--you'd be on the hook for statutory damages or "actual damages" (which would likely be computed based on how much you're making off this, though whoever owns the copyrights could also come up with some kind of lost profits theory). And those damages would be trebled because your infringement is willful (i.e., you're aware these are copyrighted works you're copying and selling).Originally Posted by wacko3205
So, basically, no question that it's illegal and you'd be on the hook for at least a few thousand dollars, but if it's a relatively small operation, no one's going to waste the time suing you. (their attorneys' fees would quickly surpass the recovery they'd be able to get from you)

Ok I'm looking into getting some kind of webhosting,
Basically I know squat about web design so I want something cheap and easy with web site creation and auto set up paypal shopping cart.
Plus I want them not to care about my boxing dvd's obviously.
Any ideas anyone?
Oh and thanks for the help up to now!
Hiya Bilbo,
did you sell me that Joe Calzaghe career set a couple of months ago? If you did, it's top quality merchandise brother, I'm a big fan. What else do you have on the market?
And here's a pretend cc fr ya, I really don't have the time to push back on my browser![]()
Well thanks for the pretend coolclick but it wasn't me you bought that off.Originally Posted by superheavyrhun

But yes, mine are indeed top quality merchandise![]()
I bought a couple fights on ebay. One of the sellers was selling something different like a random baseball card from their collection, but when you buy it you get this dvd of a fight for FREE!! It's all in how you phrase things. Just make sure the thing your selling could conceivably sell for the same price.
