    Default An uppercut pictorial

Most underused and underrated punches in the sport.

    From the back:

    From the lead:

    Squared to the body:

    A lead while pulling back:

    Shift inside counter:

Setting itself up for a double down:

    Inside and in between:

    Setting up the hook:
I think Bernard meant to miss it.

    Ditto the straight right:

    The finisher:

Marquez is in a lot of these gifs because he’s been the best at its use for a decade.

Good stuff. I think that move where a fighter slips inside a left jab and lands a left uppercut to the chin is one of the prettiest in boxing. One of my favorite uppercuts of all time was the left uppercut Ricardo Lopez landed to finish Villamor in the 8th round.

This is beautiful move Grey. For me is the variation of Walcott vs. Charles in their third fight.

The form here is so good, fluid.

Almost like he knew they'd all land before he threw them.

That is why you shouldn't reach with the right hand.
