I recon there were many sponsors in America some maybe in government but no way was it a combined effort.

The IRA was also sponsored from within America by thousands of people and from here in Australia too by tens of hundreds giving so much of their pay towards the fight and a few government people were in on it too and knew of the funding, but it wasnt an over all government plan for British downfall either.
