There was no round where Leonard would have won 10 _8 even the 12th.

Go back and read the press, you would be in a minority with that view. Most had one non knockdown 10/8, some two.

They are idiots, Hearns fought back hard when he was wobbled think it was the 7th as well and was in control of his facilities at all times.

I would agree Tommy was not hurt quite as bad as it looked. It was them 'Bambi on ice' legs that made things look worse. Also Tommy like Bruno had to be programmed to clinch, and it made things even worse.


Tommy was my favourite fighter of the 80s, and I hated nutra-sweet Leonard, but because of ten point must, I concede the fight was very close.

Odds are if Tommy didn't get ya by round 10, he would fade... and in the 12th he did just that. Fade. Had to give SRL a 10-8. It was that bad.

Watch it again, Hearns was in control and Leonard was desperate as he knew he needed a knock out to win.
