Mayweather has announced this is happening the night before his fight with Maidana. My feeling is that Lara is taking it as he's been told he may get a fight with Mayweather in the future. I don't think it'll ever happen, but if that's what he was told it was a smart marketing ploy by Floyd to get his guy the fight.
Guess they missed the result of not thinking styles through with Trout. I just think viewing this one will give new meaning to dreadful. Lara should not have to jump through this hoop in hopes of Mayweather, its empty.
