Since cotto ducked him, canelo should go for peter quillin.

for me, i would like him to fight lara first at 154 then move up to 160 but thats not going to happen. im guessing that he will take a tune up fight at 160 first. then he will hopefully fight quillen after that.

The Cotto/Martinez winner or Quillin I hope. Wouldn't be surprised to see him against Kirkland if he does stay at 154.

Can Winky still make 154? Lets be honest here. Alvarez is a hype job, a reality tv character and I dont throw those words around.

My str3am cut off and I missed the post fight but here is what happened.

    By Miguel Maravilla

Shortly after his victory over Alfredo Angulo at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez made his way to the post fight press conference to talk with the media. Moments later, fellow jr. middleweight contender Erisandy Lara made his way to the podium and challenged Canelo. “People want to see this fight,” Lara proclaimed. Alvarez asked “Who wants to see this fight?” One who replied in the affirmative was Luis De Cubas Jr. Canelo quickly replied to Lara, “Thats your manager isnt it?,” drawing laughs. “This is not how you make fights. You will have to wait.”
Seriously who does this kid think he is and what has he done to deserve this star power? He's beaten one 154 prime fighter in Austin Trout. That is not the elephant in the room, its a sperm whale.

Cotto or Kirkland. Martinez is HBO. Cotto is a big money fight even if he loses to Martinez. Seeing as Alvarez is supposed to be fighting three times this years he'll probably fight Kirkland then Cotto.

I think if Cotto loses anything other then a close fight, he'll call it a day. Maybe a gimme farewell fight.

A little place called AnywherebutLara Ave. Really if he's not fighting him he should move up in weight. Well officially this time.

Canelo should fight Lara and prove he is the best at the weight.
