What he needs is a ref that would let the fight go on if he gets hurt. I would say be VERY careful what you wish for....

He is REALLY taking that lucky night vs. Froch way too seriously... honestly... this is a waste of time... Froch beats him to a crisp, and the officials won't even matter.

Froch by 7th round kayo! No TKO... but kayo!

Lucky ? Groves dominating a large part of the first fight had NOTHING to do with luck. Luck does not help you put a champion on their arse in the first round. Complacency on the champions part and confidence in your own ability, but not Luck.

Mans got a point! And a good one, why should it matter to Froch if the officials are non GB, it is after all a WORLD title fight, or are we seeing the corrupt system starting to fall apart?

Groves has every right to be paranoid, I mean did you see the fight?

The judges had it level at the time of the stoppage?!?!?!!!??!?

I'm no professional judge but I had Groves well ahead 6 - 2 in rounds.

Its written into Groves contract that this happens allegedly and he won't fight if its not sorted, ive heard the supervisors will be British but all 3 judges and the ref won't be

Wise move by Groves and he's also put in a complaint about Froch's childish behaviour yesterday and his dickhead brother.

Froch already looks wound up and rattled, refusing to do a face off then pushing Groves.

He looked worried to me and that push was just a pathetic way to try and re establish some dominance over Groves.

I've never see Froch act like this before and he's losing fans left right and centre and coming across as an absolute wanker.

Froch's brothers just look like gay leather clad wrestlers

Groves is right. He can't afford to lose this so it is essential that he take every precaution necessary. Foster jobbed him last time and we don't need a repeat of that. If the IBF feel Foster made the wrong call then they need to do the right thing. Not sure way Froch is so upset about the request.

Was that supposed to be some sort of tough intimidation tactic by Carls Brother?

He'd get stabbed right in the face acting like a Mitchell brother for the camera.

They're both coming across as pricks for me. Groves is the slightly more articulate of the two but neither of them have got the brains, vocabulary or the imagination to pull off the bad guy act. Froch pushing, refusing to do face to face, Groves playing with a rubik's cube, its all a bit childish and pointless. Lets not get started on the Village People Froch took with him.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

The whole thing is turning into a soap-opera with a hint of the Three Stooges thrown in.
I'm not pointing any fingers though because it doesn't get any stranger/worse than Broner.
I can see how it might be pissing some UK boxing fans off but I'm enjoying the whole thing.

I really, really want Groves to knock him out. As a fighter, Froch is great entertainment but as a person he comes across as an absolute bell end. I think being held in Calzaghe's shadow made him feel underappreciated and now he has the fame he's pissed off that this kid has come up and pissed all over his parade. Froch is a warrior with a great chin but he's nowhere near as good as he believes he is. I just want him to give Groves the respect he deserves.

Considering Groves got one of the worst premature stoppages seen even in a British ring by a ref who had posted something about betting on Froch to win in the ninth round and two of the judges had the fight level even though Groves dominated I'd say Groves is justified in asking for anybody but the shower of shit who were responsible for overseeing and judging the last fight.

Froch will never give Groves respect if Groves wins. He'll just say he had one fight too many and would have beaten him easily a couple of years ago. Or say he thinks he won and he wants a rematch.
