I see this as a good step up fight for Wilder, as Malik Scott does have some ability, although he might not be able to take any kind of punch in this one. Whether it was a second early or not, Chisora hurt him badly with one shot and Wilder clearly hits harder if nothing else. If the fight drags on past a couple rounds, it should at least answer some questions about both.

You never know with the heavyweights. Like p4pking says though, it will answer a question or two if it goes a few rounds. Hopefully!

Scott was chosen because he doesn't have a punch to keep Wilder off. It's hard to forget when Harold Sconiers badly hurt Wilder a few years ago. They'll keep him away from big punchers for as long as they can.
