He gets paid ok. Also has a decent sponsorship deal with betfair. I just get the feeling that hes waiting for a weak beltholder to come along. He didnt fancy his chances v Alexander so avoided him until something he thinks is easier comes along. The winner of Porter v Paulie is probably that.
That is being too sceptical, no one would risk that, he clearly had an injury. Brooks would have beaten Devon any way. What was there to be afraid of?
I agree with you. I think he would have beaten Alexander. Just find it strange that an athlete in peak condition would pull out injured for his 2 chances at a world title. Perhaps it was more the fear of having to go to the states for the fight and felt he wouldnt get a fair decision.
I still put it down to unfortunate injuries nothing more.
