Floyd is taking the path of least resistance into retirement. How realistic is it for Floyd to fight Sergio, especially if Martinez looks impressive and wipes out Cotto. Floyd will not press for a fight with Manny/Bradley either.

Garcia is not ready and will not be fighting at 140lb.

Floyd is a good cherrypicker like bernard so this is what might happen..

If sergio destroys cotto, floyd wont even mention his name..

But if sergio wins but looks real vulnerable , I can see floyd calling him out...

Smart man.. I dont order floyd ppvs unless the homies all pitch in.. its not about the money but more about principle for me..

I aint gonna help a boring fighter like floyd get rich. Uh uh fuck that.
I don't get how people think he's boring. Punching with that much speed and precision as well as making top quality fighters look ordinary are the reasons why I watch. His fights aren't boring to me. He's the best in the sport and I love boxing more than any sport, so why wouldn't I wanna watch?
It's no that... but with most of his opponents, I don't expect any drama. See? With Maidana vs. Broner, I expected Broner to get hit- not to lose as wide as he did, but to get hit and tested and for drama to unferl.

With a Floyd fight, it's such a wash out even before the fight begins, it makes no sense watching it- it's not "must see TV" UNLESS you are a fan of his record. And, to be honest, he will not break Marciano's record or even Chavez Sr.'s record... so, what is there to watch?

If Floyd decides to 1. Fight Pacman and/or 2. Go for Marciano's record, then it's something to go and see. Shit, I may steal a few pennies to fly in for the last, historic, record breaking affair. But it won't be that- just a stream of good guys who we know he will mop the floor with- I can see that on replay.

Floyd, since Corrales, has been extra special spectacular. And, since Castillo 2, has been super, duper, extra special spectacular- we know this. We respect. But it's not "must see TV".... he has spoiled us.
    Bigger man George, bigger punch!

Why should he do any of that? He is the highest paid athlete in the WORLD. Why does he need to do more? To make you happy? Because you say so? Who the fuck are you?

im a true boxing fan MF. and plenty of people feel just like I do. pull your tongue outta floyds tater and open your eyes. if he wants to be remembered as an all time great who faced serious challenges ( not fighters he knew he could potshot/run from ) and overcame them, he'll do these things. as of now, he has not got that great a rep as someone who takes on all comers in fact, he's sorta chickenhearted...and scared to death of pacman.

I suspect you have no idea of how Floyd feels about boxing, his career & success.
I'm sure he doesn't care what you think. Self appointed true boxing fan. Hahaha....

Floyd is cruising into retirement and his legacy will be scrutinised because he has the opportunity to make career defining fights.

Hmm floyd, like this, you like it when i stoke your cock? Yes floyd please bust in my face.......you have a lame rebuttal for everything. His former butt buddy 50 cent even stopped hanging around him cause he was tired of running from pac with floyd.

The only people that appreciated floyds handpicking are cock strokers. IF your the best prove it and fight only the best elite fighters! Jmm, Bradley, pac, martinez....all elite fighters who have stepped up to real challenges. floyd will never be on that list.

Floyd constantly complains about his health and being around for his kids.....if thats the case then fucking retire......But why, dick suckers will still shell out money to watch him punch and run from B level fighters.

Floyd has taken a hard stance against steroid and PED use. By refusing to fight anyone that won't voluntarily have themselves tested he's opened and pushed the dialog on the subject. This should lead to greater safety for all fighters. He has also taken control of his career. He's his own boss and isn't at the mercy of a greedy promoter who doesn't care about the stable of fighters he has under contract. He's putting himself first and encouraging others to do the same. These are groundbreaking changes within the sport and part of Floyd's legacy... This is a very big point that people are missing. Floyd doesn't simply want to be a boxer. He wants to be a coach, mentor and reformer as well as an ATG.

Floyd is not all you claim he is to be. GBP paid off his taxes otherwise he would have ended up in jail and so he signed for them. He is now taking simple challenges as welterweight when he is the best at the weight. Waste of time and his legacy.

Smart man.. I dont order floyd ppvs unless the homies all pitch in.. its not about the money but more about principle for me..

I agree 100% but I still buy them. Kinda like how I still buy a lottery ticket every couple of weeks even though I know it is stupid and I'm not going to win. I like Floyd but if I don't get the pay per view and he loses I will kick myself just as if I don't get the ticket one week and the number comes up I'll be pissed. No logic to it. Just can't help myself. Except I didn't bother against Guerrero, no disrespect to Robert.

Same here cant remember the last time I bought into one, could of been Hatton.

I dont know about blatant cherry picking in regards to who, cause he has fought some whos who we thought had a chance take him out but he sees it different.

He sure does steer his way through carefully and times what he sees in an opponent into what and when he'll fight them (thats part of the game plan unfortunately).
