I think it was bit of both.. he didnt follow the scenario.. I dont think he was supposed to go down that early but when he got caught early, he got shook and decided to pack it in.

He already got paid plus the "fat white envelope" on the side so he wanted to go home early to pack his bags for the free cruise to the bahamas.

It was bad acting though.. this dude was supposed to be an experienced veteran so for him to go out that early wasnt believable.... he could have got up..

He probably took some verbal thrashing by a coked up oscar afterwards cuz now everybody is questioning the legitimacy of the knockout..
