Considering Matthysse lost his last fight Molina isn't a bad opponent. I would have preferred Herrera after his performance last weekend. I can understand not taking fight against a boxer though after his first loss. He should beat up Molina, but with Molina, you never know, the guy's a beast too.

I'm a fan of Lucas. I like him. I probably overrated him. It's hard not to like a puncher, isn't it? Ask yourself though when was the last Lucas fight you didn't have fun watching? Garcia-Matthysse stole the show last May.

Lucas also beat up Lamont, Judah and Alexander, even if on the books, he lost those fights.

If Garcia doesn't face Herrera in a rematch and stays at 140, he should face Lamont in a unification bout. Both are GB and Haymon. Make it happen.

Molina is a smallish lightweight. He'll get stopped early. Its a confidence building fight for Matthysse so no major issue with it.

Molina is decent and not one to doubt himself vs Matthysse. It'll be a tv friendly fight that Matthysse should command down the stretch for a tko. I thought they would have tried to get Mickey Bey his rematch, but its probally best for him they didn't.
