Can the midget cuban beat Juanma?
Gamboa will be fav but Juanma clearly has some power left. Ive always been suspect of Gamboas chin. Would like to see it made.
He does leave himself open when he attacks, but he gets up and wins does he not,! Lopez is a
fighter I like also, but I feel he looks a bit shop-worn but Gamboa is the best Jr lightweight out
there and I feel has a lot more to offer.

Gamboa is still the man for me and beats Juanma easily.

the only occasions that Gamboa and time are ever in the same sentence are in the following statements "waste of time" and "took his damn time", the guy has had too many long layoffs and too much inactivity, sorry but he has in no way lived up to his hype, he has become the Cuban version of Joan Guzman

If that fight had been made when it should have been, Gamboa would have smoked him inside 4 rounds. Lopez likely shouldn't be taking flush shots anymore. He is shot to shit.

Come on now. De Leon who's slow as a glacier had no problem connecting on him. Gamboa might not be the fighter he was hyped to be, but his speed was. Way to fast for Lopez. Wrecks him. And wrecks him early.

Im looking at the guys who gave JUanma trouble and it were the aggressive fighters like Mtgawa, Rafael Marquez, and Salido.. Mikey Garcia dont fit the mold but he's an exception cuz he's in a class of his own..

Gamboa has been trying to be more of a cute boxer these days.. I can't remember the last time he fought aggresively.. probably against that one bum pinoy but that was way over a year ago..

Gamboa may be fast but often times that speed is innaffective because he's so fundamentally flawed.. For a fast fighter, he sure does get caught hard and often by nearly everybody who has fought him.. His defense is horrible.. He fights with his hands down and that chin is exposed especially when he's backing straight up.

I believe Juanma is better off when somebody gives him space and tries to box with him and I think Gamboa is that type of opponent..

Im not saying Gamboa would box with him for 12 rounds but he wouldnt suffocate him the whole time..
