I wrote a novel breaking this down but I erased it because I don't want to bore people.

Short answer to Deontay is he seems to have alarming power. But history shows sloppy fighters with huge power don't hold up. There's no signs he will correct his technique so they either have to avoid resistance or watch him lose except the occasions he catches the guy. So far they've chosen to avoid resistance.

So he is the new Earnie Shavers.

Shavers wasn't 6'7. I'm hoping the height n reach will continue to serve Wilder well.

We have not seen enough of Wilder to say he uses his height and reach with effect.

Shavers had above average reach... I'd say Wilder is a Hearns waiting to happen. Someone who gets in with a SRL, who takes him deep, absorbs his shots, and then beats him up late- a weakened kitten of a Wilder, late.
