Lombard's throws were pretty, can believe he tossed jake around like some sort of lifeless doll.

Agreed! Jake Shields = BJJ Black Belt & veteran MMA fighter/Champ - but perhaps his clinch game needs to find an answer to judo/wrestling trips/throwsOriginally Posted by armin
Olympic-level anything is no joke, and for Lombard being on the Cuban Oly Judo team is a testament of his skills
Just cool that instead of going for the KO, he mixed up his game and remembered his Judo skills

Lombard is a scary dude. The only question is whether or not he can sustain an attack for 5 rounds.
All that muscle eats up a lot of oxygen...

yeah if he can last rds 4 and 5, he can compete for the championship - but we won't really know (yet)

I dunno how he makes the weight. I read somewhere he was up to 213lbs a few days later.
But yeah, he threw Shields around like he was a grappling dummy. It looked like Man vs Kid.
