I can't see France or Germany becoming like America. If they do, the last place for freedom will be gone and the whole world will live in slavery. They can talk most Americans into anything. When I was a kid we would talk about the U.S.S.R. spying on there own people and how evil that was. Now we do it and it's fucking great. You can't tell 90% of Americans shit. What ever that T.V. says it's like it came out the mouth of Jesus. It's just hopeless over here.

Look at what's happened to Greece over the past few years. 30% unemployment, 25% of the economy (GDP) lost and massive cuts in wages/living standards. So where is the fightback from the people? Bear in mind this is a country with two big Communist parties (even today!), a large Anarchist population and a massive socialist voting bloc. Add on a history of very successful anti-American/corporatism domestic terrorism (November 17th group etc.

So this country is well to the left of countries like America and even Germany. And they've been decimated over the past few years. But so far no reaction from the people.

The banks and big business are watching this and thinking fuck it, let's do this on a slower scale everywhere in Europe. Twenty years from now everywhere is like Alabama was fifty years ago.
